Hi! What are your opinion on Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises?

I think Batman Begins is a great movie. The use of flashbacks and the nonlinear storytelling really worked for me, and it was a really well crafted story. I do have issue with the 3rd act being too formulaic compared to the first two acts, but the movie is still great. Rises, for me, had the potential to completely overshadow TDK. I think my big flaw with Rises was that it felt a bit thematically muddled. But other than that, it's still a really solid movie. The Dark Knight trilogy is truly an amazing trilogy.

You have a very good list of favorites. But you're cheating yourself by not having seen The Princess Bride. Easy watch, but one of the best 5 or so movies of the '80's.
