Amity Island had everything. Clear skies. Gentle surf. Warm water. People flocked there every summer. It was the perfect feeding ground.

"Jaws" is arguably one of the top 100 greatest films! It has drama, solid acting (especially R Shaw), great music, and humor. How can anyone NOT appreciate it?!

I just saw it for the first time. I thought it was a lot of fun. Steven Spielberg has a charm about him that few directors have.

Possibly the greatest movie of all time. With T2, Citizen Kane, Aliens etc., And my favorite movie. Nothing can beat this, it’s beyond a masterpiece. Everything in the film works. The 3 main characters, music, acting, cinematography, and practical effects. Love to bits.

Ok, I know I will get hate comments for this but I find this film and Alien to be some of the most overrated films I have ever seen. Neither of them are terrible but they are almost always ranked so high around films in general let alone just horror films. Ok, so Jaws is not really horror but mostly action animal film. Alien is horror mixed with sci-fi and I just do not get the appeal of a monster in space. Honestly. I found it to be more gross than scary.
