Also DKR has a bigger scope than Begins which is mabye why I like it more. Also Bane is a much better villian. I will admit Begins is structured much better, but overall I think both are fantastic movies.

I’m curious, why do you have Mary Poppins so low?

Oh yeah, I knew I'd be asked that one soon. My big reason would be - I just find it really, really boring. I can never get more than 45 minutes in, and I have tried to like it but I just can't. I really just don't get it. Mabye it's the fact I'm not a fan of musicals, but they're is still a ton I enjoy, like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Jungle Book (my favourite Disney animation). Sorry, I'm fine if you and many others enjoy it, I just really dislike it.

Still a thousand times better than the Greatest Showman tho

Hmm, is it being boring the only reason? Also if you never finished it, why did you rank it?

I do find it excruciatingly boring, sorry. But sure, we're allowed to disagree. Even if I can't see how you enjoy a film dosen't mean you can't enjoy.

The first two Hunger Games movies are a blast! The last two, however, are pretty skippable. I hope you like the first one!

Thanks, I'm actually on the last book right now. I bought them all in a box-set so I'll probably watch the Mockingjays too even though I've heard mixed things about them

what do you think of the pre-2000 comic book movies? (e.g. christopher reeve's superman 1-4, burton and schumacher's batmaan 1-4, the crow)

I've never actually seen any of the Burton/Schumacher Batman films. I've seen parts of the Burton Batman films but they really aren't my style, especially what I've seen of Returns. I vastly prefer the style of Christopher Nolan. Also, from what I've heard of the Schumacher films I might hold off on them. I've seen the first two Reeves films the whole way through. Superman 1 is... I know it's a classic, but mabye because I saw the more modern Man of Steel first and also the effects looking pretty shady nowadays, but I really didn't find it that great, although Reeves is the perfect Superhero. I guess I'm not into the more campy sides of superhero film. But I do enjoy Superman 2 a lot more, because the three villians, especially General Zod, are extremely enjoyable - although Lex Luther's side quest I could do without.

Nicolas Winding Refn's stuff, Edgar Wright, Gaspar Noe if you wanna see something stylized and not the usual stuff.

Also, I'd reccomend watching Villenueve and Raimi's stuff and various trilogies like bourne, john wick and mission impossible.

Do you ever take breaks between watching films?
