The Avengers happens to be the 250th film to enter my flickchart. Anyways both are quite entertaining but I think Avengers takes this one for superior writing if nothing else.

I would go Temple havent seen Raiders though which is sad... i know.

Kali Ma on Stark's arc reactor.
I love Indiana Jones but The Avengers was even better than Raiders of the Lost. Avengers is my one of my favorite movies ever, no question better than Temple.

Indy wins. I just love the darkness of TOD and the guts by Speilberg and Lucas to get a whole different tone. Sure, it helps that Lucas was going through a divorce around the time of 1983 and 1984, resulting in the addition of a Sarlac Pitt in ROTJ and the darkness of TOD. The Avengers is also in my top 25 but I just prefer Indy!!!!!
