It’s a serviceable sequel. Even ten years after The Hobbit, high frame rate still makes movies look like a Days of Our Lives episode.

Like the first one, Way of the Water is a fun, absolutely stunning blockbuster with epic world building and action scenes. Unfortunately, it also shares the woes of he original, one dimensional characters, cliche plot development, and this one throws in some serious quick fixes to manufacture drama with the villains. 6/10

On par with the first. So, pretty good. James Cameron sure can direct the hell out of an action scene.

How do you rate a movie that changes the way you perceive what the whole medium is capable of achieving on a technological level. The movie as a whole is good, but the audio visual, cinematic experience in 3D HFR is in a league of its own.
