Cool. I really like De Niro and Hanks as well. Any movies on your "list of shame" you really want to see?

Django Unchained is awesome! Definitely recommend that one.

A few other directors I like a lot are Tarantino, Scorsese, Fincher, and Spielberg. Do you like any of those or any other directors?

Hitchcock is good as well. I've seen Rear Window, Psycho, Dial M for Murder, North By Northwest, and Vertigo by him. There is still some of his films I need to see.

I thought it was really good. The cast was great, it had great performances, and amazing action scenes. The dialogue was a bit under par for a pachino or dinero movie, and the movie was a little slow in some places. Overall I give it about 7.6/10

Nice list...You have watched many more films than I have.
I hope you don't mind me asking, who are your favourite directors?

Hey, I don't mind saying my favorite directors at all. Christopher Nolan, David Fincher (though I was disappointed with Mank), and the Coen Brothers.

You have a very interesting list as well. I've not watched much Tarkovsky, what makes you drawn to his films?

Thanks for replying. Sorry for my late reply however...

I also like the Coen Brothers's films as well as Nolan's, although I should see more from the brothers. So far I've seen, No Country For Old Men, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Hail Caesar and The Ballad of Buster Scrugs. Which ones should I watch next.

In answer to your question about Tarkovsky, I find that his films from an editing and cinematography standpoint are all impeccable. In his best films every shot is unforgettable and mesmerising and there is not a single cut that feels out of place, everything is so perfectly arranged in his films. He also works with remarkable actors in his films even though his screenplays are a bit irritating in some parts. What do you think of Tarkovsky?
