Two classics. As much as I love the weird surreal feel of Apocalypse, Raiders is the more enjoyable film.

So tough!
I certainly like Apocalypse Now, but it's not really the kind of film you're dying to watch over and over and over again. Raiders of the Lost Ark IS that kind of film.
Both masterpieces, but I agree with Caesar: Raiders has a much, much higher rewatch value. Apocalypse now is in my top 20, though.
Raiders. It just never gets old...

Eh...after thinking about Apocalypse Now again, it's now out of my top 20. Still a great movie though.

Raiders is great entertainment but doesn't have the power and depth of apocalypse, one of the greatest films of all time. Raiders = light heavyweight, Apocalypse = Super Heavyweight

I have a lot of respect for these two as adventure flicks, but Apocalypse Now is so mysteriously mythical that as the characters journey gingerly through Vietnam, one gets the feeling they're also treading a misty darkness within themselves. If Raiders is a memorable journey, Apocalypse Now is a catastrophic one.
