Both completely flip the one of their previous installments and bring excellent new aesthetics to their environments. Ragnarok wins for having a more consistent tone, not being boring, and having entertaining characters and actual consequences, all of which The Last Jedi completely failed at in every regard.
Both were taken in risky directions, but only in Thor: Ragnarok did everything really click.

Hard choice but I prefer the Star Wars option.
Thor Ragnarok gave the fans some of what we wanted. Last Jedi insulted fans. What's to debate?

They both were garbage. Dunkirk, Wonder Woman and Logan was the only good blockbusters in 2017.

I feel like while Ragnarok is shining bright for people now, it'll burn out in a few years or a decade's time while Last Jedi will continue to improve in people's eyes
