Thanks! I noticed that you have Doctor Zhivago as your favourite film, yet I haven't seen it. Would I like it?

I think you will because you appreciated 'Lawrence of Arabia". Zhivago is a very realistic epic about personal lives shaken up by the Russian Revolution. The cinematography and musical score is fantastic. I was lost in a movie for three hours.

Will most definitely watch it! I think you should watch Seven Samurai and the rest of Akira Kurosawa's works. They hold up really well to this day.

I need to check into Akira Kurosawa's films. Many people with my cinematic taste have recommended them to me.

You have a great top 10. Although I have yet to see American Beauty or Zhivago, I greatly appreciate the other eight. Pulp, 2001, No Country, Cuckoo's Nest, and Clockwork stand out the most.

How great is American Beauty? I've heard a lot of mixed things about it but I'm still thinking about giving it a watch. I've read online that the writer of it wrote one of my all time favorite TV shows called Six Feet Under, (not sure if you've seen it or not), so I've been interested in it for quite some time.

I think it was an American Masterpiece and I hardly ever give films such an acclamation. It was a satirical bullseye
stab on suburban angst.

I just saw it last weekend and I absolutely loved it. It was very real and memorable. Great film.

I definitely want to see that one. I did see Damsels in Distress and can't say I've ever seen a movie like it before.

I can't believe you've seen over 6000 movies. I thought only professional critics had seen that many.

Well, I suggest you start with Akira Kurosawa. I see 4 of his films on your "Hasn't Seen" list to my left.
