Bad Day at Black Rock vs. Paris, je t'aime

Paris je t'aime is consistently a tough film in a match-up. It is pretty good, with some moments of brilliance and others that don't work as well. But how do you compare it with a film like Bad Day a Black Rock? They are so removed from each other in every conceivable way. Black Rock is pretty solid film, and historically its message was very significant, but it is never as good as Paris when the latter is at its best, nor as bad when Paris is at its worst. I guess I'm going with Black Rock, if only because I don't think Paris will have too great an impact on cinema or the oeuvres of the filmmakers who worked on it.
