"Superman the Movie is my favorite superhero film. Period. Nothing comes close. It's firmly entrenched at #1 in my book. Batman 89, however, has a lot I do like. In fact, it is my favorite Batman film. I do like Nolan's films, but not as much. It is a miracle the makers of Superman the Movie were able to find Christopher Reeve. It is a perfect dual performance on his part. The kind the Oscars should recognize but rarely does. "
