"The first film wins here. It was fresh, and wad something that came out of nowhere. The sequel had to just build on what was already successful, and although it did that well, it didn't really do anything new, and actually gave me more characters I cared very little about. The action sequences in the first movie I also thought were better, and I noticed Keanu spoke more in the 2nd film which I don't think was a good idea. He lost the mysterious image he had in the first, and also the more he spoke, the more I noticed he couldn't actually act and should stick to just the fighting and shooting which still again amazed me. Both solid movies regardless"
