Last night I watched From Russia With Love. Like Dr No, the first 30 minutes is a little slow (though a little more interesting this time around). After it gets going, it stands as one of the best Bonds I've ever seen. Connery owns the role and he's joined by a great Robert Shaw

Great film. I personally prefer Dr No mainly because of the gypsy fighting sequence and there are too many characters but Sean Connery gives one of the best performances by a Bond, the sets and locations are some of the best in the series, the story is intriguing and complex and the train sequence is brilliant. It's really one of the only instalments where they were trying to make a film, not a Bond movie.

It has a few sillier moments, but in general it's quite the tense cold war spy film, with some good foreshadowing and a few really good action set pieces.
