I know this is cliched and annoying, but thanks to a pre-screening... FIRST!!!

I saw this yesterday. It was alright. Y can't I rank it though I really want to. The vomiting annoyed me though.

It's every bit as banal as you'd expect it to be. Skip it.

I just saw The Million Dollar Arm. It was mostly a dull affair. The plot was highly predictable, the dialogue rather Hamm (zing!) fisted, and dry editing. Jon Hamm was the only highlight of the film. Alan Arkin looked like he just wanted to sleep and indeed spends most of his scenes doing just that

Expected much worse based on the reviews. I thought the cast was strong and enjoyed watching it with my kids. Avoids falling into the White Savior trap and was, I thought, respectful of its Indian characters without fetishizing them, or their culture. That said, it is by-the-numbers and entirely predictable. Not one I think anybody should feel bad for missing. Don't have to dread it though if someone brings it home from the redbox.
