Such a dumb film. But it's so damn entertaining.

I really liked the film. But just a little nitpicking, having Kong walk upright, unlike Gorillas in the wild kept bugging me as I watched.

I found the film very entertaining. People in my movie theatre clapped at the end. I liked it a lot more than the last GODZILLA film. The film reminded me a bit of films like ALIENS 2 or the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy which include an ensemble cast, many of whom don't make it but which you come to care about after learning a bit about each, their pasts, their lives. I thought they did a good job in fleshing out the secondary characters so they weren't just "red shirts". The two human leads were likeable and I liked that although they did heroic things, they weren't portrayed as superhuman. They both ended up having a nice chemistry with Kong. And as for Kong himself - I was impressed with the CGI. I think they made him pretty realistic looking while keeping the epic scale of this legendary character. The film is not going to win an Oscar for best film but if you're a fan of those old monster movies, this one should definitely entertain you. I'm really looking forward to the GODZILLA VS KONG film now.

One of the best films I have seen in a long time. I predict that this film will go down as being underappreciated. Yes Kong walks upright, which is the biggest complaint movie goers have, but seriously, he is freaking King Kong! He is a fictitious character for goodness sake. This film ranks right up there with Lord of the Rings trilogy and Jurassic Park for the emotional feeling I had while sitting the theatre witnessing something amazing, which is why it is hard for me not to rank it extremely high on my chart.

I had a good time with this one. It's nothing amazing, but it's fun.

Plenty of fun, kinda dumb and the special effects stuff is a bit dodgy. Otherwise it's as good as a monster-action film as there's been in awhile. Also Samuel L. Jackson's performance is outstanding.

Perpetual storm!! Kong putting his fist in a skull crusher while Brie Larson is in that fist!! Cliche, shallow characters!! C'mon man!! Yet another visually stunning but completely brainless blockbuster, that has a slight edge on Jurassic World.

Even when I recognize it’s flaws, I still think it’s a really fun and good movie. Some characters were bland and some plot holes, but also a lot of characters that I really liked. Samual Jackson’s character was probably my favorite. Though I like how even Kong got a lot of character and let you know who he was. Cinematography and Action were top tier, even though I know that’s not what makes a movie good. Acting was very strong and the dialogue was pretty good and only had me cringe one or two times. Overall a flawed but very very enjoyable film. 7.5/10
