This film is a confounding combination of brilliance and stupidity. I have never seen anything like it (although it does remind me in some ways of "Legion" and "Rick and Morty"), and it left me exhausted. I wanted it to be over long before it actually ended, but there are some brilliant sequences mixed in with very, very stupid and crass ones.

Despite all the crazy Kung Fu fighting and multiverse-hopping, the film is ultimately a family drama at its foundation. A combination that seems random and chaotic, but is actually creatively brilliant.

Quite unique with occasional funny bits, but unfortunately this film is very, very boring and drags on for way too long. Wanted to like it, but couldn't.

I really enjoyed it. I honestly think that if I took itself more seriously it would have or could have been an emotional sci-fi family drama masterpiece. It didn’t though, and we got that stupid hotdog finger universe. So I just liked it.

One of those movies that really are as good as everyone keeps saying. Believe the hype on this one, trust me!

This movie is brilliantly made. Editing, cinematography, framing, etc. are all top notch here. The visuals are amazing, and the screenplay is well-written. The comedy works pretty well overall apart from some minor parts, and the emotional aspects of this film hit like a freight train. The action scenes are kinetic and amazingly-choreographed. Underneath all this multiverse mumbo-jumbo, the movie is a pretty philosophical and deep movie about nihilism and optimism, and even under that it's about relations, acceptance, and family. I do have issues with the movie like some plot points being a bit underdeveloped, especially some major ones, but they're fairly small complaints overall. Great movie
