Aside from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, this is Clint Eastwood's greatest western.

How can you not love Clint? There's just no way. "Unforgiven" works just to visit the genre and see him with the big ol' hat again. That being said, it's quite a dispensable Western in my opinion.

One of the best westerns ever made. A bonafide classic. The film is a hard hitting statement on the nature of violence, with morally gray characters. The buildup to the memorable, violent conclusion is handled superbly. Eastwood has never been better. Hackman and Freeman are great.
