It's pretty enjoyable, but you'll need to keep your expectations low.

When The Greatest Showman is good it delivers quite a rush. Problem is, it's bad more often than not. I really want to like it though, and A Million Dreams is a beautiful song.

It was okay. The music sounded mostly the same, although it did improve in the second half. Hugh Jackman isn't the greatest singer. I personally liked his voice. I feel like the movie could've been better if the focus was on the circus performers.

I liked both bvs and this movie. So I’m curious what your favorite musical has been in the past 10 years or so?

Why do people like this movie? I guess the cinematography's okay and it's colourful enough, and although I hate the songs they would appeal to today's pop-loving general audience, but it's just such a dull, boring, forgettable, badly-scripted, terribly-plotted D-grade musical (and I don't even like musicals). Also, historical inaccurate to the EXTREME.
