Best case scenario would be Shyamalan with a small budget n' a a big plot making a decent comeback. This is the exact opposite.

What in the hell did i just watch? So many illogical things just killed me and the boring talking... in a minute the dad would say just about 2 Slow words... the best part was when the bird saved the kid, tho even then it was just becouse of the birds death as in sacrificed for his "kin"...oh yea, it was amazing...

I've honestly seen worse. It's definitely not the colossal piece of garbage that many critics are claiming it to be. It's certainly better than most of the films that Shyamalan has directed in the last few years.
