Best in the series, also the first time we see Jason with his hockey mask.

I take that back, Part 6 is the best in the series, still a good sequel though.

Other then the hockey mask, nothing special about it. Just copying the first two without any of what made those so great. unnecessary 3D, painfully slow, lame characters; And Jason and the final girl take a major downgrade from Part II. It's not flat out bad, but weak/mediocre. Thank the maker they fixed things up in Part IV. Also that fake head exploding. . . One of the worst kills in film history. 5/10.

The last 30 minutes are great, and it redeems the film. The rest of it is sub-par for the series.
