Pretty disappointing for me. I like the idea of the story, but I felt the execution was off and the film is way too long.

Yeah, it could've and should've been shorter. I can see why it's called a masterpiece, though.

The 136 minute runtime is not worth the few subtle character moments that pay off. I took several breaks during this movie because I was feeling really bored with almost every minute of this. It truly is a chore to watch.
