A sci-fi /horror classic, with a methodically slow buildup, great atmosphere, expert pacing and direction. An A+ B Film. Weavers Ripley is a legendary female protagonist.

Probably the first movie where I was hit with a jumpscare, then it cut to the next scene and I realized: “Oh sh*t! I’m still scared!”.

I adore this movie. It's a movie that has engaging characters, an incredible creature, and its incredibly scary. It's one of Ridley Scott's best films.
