Alright, but a lot is horribly dated.

A masterpiece all the way. Without, Horror wouldn’t be the same.

First scene yes good, but this film is rather awful. Of course the black guy gets mistaken and killed in the end. Really come on? What a 1968 thing to do.

"Of course the black guy gets mistaken and killed in the end. Really come on? What a 1968 thing to do." Really?! Your gonna claim this movie as racist? This was one of the first horror movies to have a black lead without bringing up his race. Romero hired him because he was the best actor for the role. If he was white, he still would have been shot in the end. This movie treats it's lead with respect and treats him like any other human. Now how is that "a 1968 thing to do."?
