I'm only halfway through the book, and the book's better. This is fine as a mindless action film, but it hits like a sledgehammer where the book is (at least so far) much more subtle. Props for the intense opening scene (it's very well filmed), but even that is a bit of a misstep; I prefer Rapp's motivations as they are set up in the book.
