The sequel to the greatest slasher film of all time, Halloween II is often categorized as a splatter film, as the slow, claustrophobic epic-ness of the original, it replaced with graphic violence and gore in order to compete with other slasher series, but lost something in translation.

A very chilling part 2 to the night he came home. While is can’t reach the lingering fear of the first, nothing can, but it’s still very intense experience. One of my few problems is that we have less Laurie, I guess it makes sense because she was drugged. And the movie makes up for it with Dr Loomis & horrific murders by the Shape. And I like the characters from the first movie more, but the Hospital nurses are decent and memorable, and makes you just squirming knowing the shape is watching. And I love the gothic score, even if the if the first is creepier. So yeah, it can’t be the first, but it is still widely solid horror sequel. I’m torn between San 8 or a 9 out of 10. I can’t decide right now.
*an. And I can’t even finish without a typo.
