Mind officially blown. Not since Drunken Master 2 and Hard Boiled have I seen a movie so relentless in its attempt to entertain through action. Fucking hell, what a movie.

Insanely violent and way way over the top but it works. A mind blowing torrent of fighting, action and claustrophobic angst. Don't worry too much about the subtitles as the dialogue is quite terrible, let the action do the talking.

This has got to be the most entertaining action film I've ever seen so far. The fight scenes are perfectly choreographed.

Good film, amazing action and choreography. But I have a question; aside from copyright issues, why the hell is it called "The Raid: Redemption" in the USA?! There is no such redemption to speak of :P

I think it's referring to Andi, the brother, but only loosely. By the end, he's still a criminal, probably risen up in the ranks, but he did right by his kid brother. Turned his back (to a degree, anyway) on the boss and got the kid out of there. I imagine there'll be more brother-to-brother bonding in the sequel.

This is one of the best action films ever. The martial arts and stunt work is paralleled only by greats such as Jackie Chan. I can't wait to see The Raid 2.

It's a good action film, I personally don't care for it.
