A blockbuster filled with action, a strong story, heart, and well fleshed out characters making it the best X-film to date. Good job at getting the franchise back on track FOX.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, even calling X-Men First Class a great comic-book movie sells it short. This movie works on all of its own terms; there's no cinematic slumming involved in enjoying it. It truly is an exceptional movie regardless of genre. Honestly one of the, if not THE best movie produced this year to date and I’m glad to see that the majority of film fans agree with me.

Among the best superhero Movies. Not quite as great as The Dark Knight or Iron Man, but it's up there with Spider-Man 2, X-2: X-Men United, and Batman Begins.

One of the best X-men's. It's ambitious to pull off an X-Men film without most of the original characters but it does perfectly for a comic movie. Not my favourite X-Men film but I can see why many would think of it as theirs.

Kevin Bacon is the best thing that has happened to the X-Men universe. Honestly, his screen presence is dominating.

Even though I enjoy it, and it’s not bad by any means.. I find it heavily overrated. While the two main characters are great, the side characters are just crap and or empty, the worst being the terrible villain of the film. The movie also has a major pacing issue, lingering on to much then zipping past the important stuff. Also the climax was really awkward and didn’t make much sense. Again, it’s not bad. I really liked Eisenhardt & Xavier. They were fantastic, and honestly saved the movie for me.

Although X-Men: First Class is not the best film of its franchise, it certainly does it justice after X3 and XMO.
