The movie that DC needed, I've also been waiting for a Wonder Woman movie pretty much my whole life.

Wonder Woman: The First Avenger.
I don't really mean that as an insult. 'Twas good.

Yup. Liked a lot. Had heart, warmth and humour. Not a great actress, but Gal Gadot has a certain regality that fits the role perfectly. 8/10

Room for improvement but miles ahead of anything else of the WB/DC slate under Snyder.

I've honestly enjoyed every DCEU film so far, but I'm happy to say Wonder Woman is easily the best. Lots of humor and heart, much-improved pacing, and PHENOMENAL action sequences! Our faith was well placed, and for now the DCEU lives on! Here's hoping Justice League later this year continues the trend.

Gal Gadot shines in the role and I really liked Chris Pine too. I also liked the World War I setting and overall found this an enjoyable superhero movie.

Finally saw WW after refusing to watch it because of the first 3 DCEU films. This movie has a great production. The sets, the locations and cinematography are all spectacular. I loved the look of Amazon, I loved the feel of London and I loved the war setting. But nothing really happens in any of those settings. In fact, it's an incredibly lifeless, style over substance movie. The story is simple, the villains suck, the twist is underwhelming. Wonder Woman felt too naive during the entire film. It's okay to have our in awe and mistaking every object she sees for the first few scenes but after awhile it just got annoying. The rest of the cast and characters are subpar in acting and just forgettable. And boy, the CGI and action is atrocious, especially the final fight!

Not a bad movie, just VASTLY overrated.

It's taken a while, but the first ever actually good female-lead superhero movie is here, and it really is good.
