An underappreciated horror gem. One of my favorites. I'd like to see it rank much higher on Flickchart.

The effects aren't very good, but the cast is solid, there are lots of tense scenes, plenty of thrills, and I personally really liked the ending.

Pretty Lovecraftian and pretty intense, but the ending was a joke.

on first viewing the ending was such a shock on second viewing you think why give up so easily , they drove for a bit in no danger at all and he decided that choice .... there was no need , he just give up so easy when there was no need to at that time. I did enjoy it but on second viewing the movie dropped down on my list.
