I have to disagree with you guys. Yes the ending was unexpected but it brought about a whole different plot and motives that were not developed enough to seem realistic, leaving a lot of plot holes. The ending does not connect to the rest of the movie and just feels cheaply added on like it actually was.

Gotta agree with eagles here. Tacked on is it exactly. A decent movie ruined by a tacked on finale.
