Something about this movie really sucked me in. I couldn’t help but be drawn into the daily life of Woody’s character, and the little day to day things that make up a life.

Woody Allen is a terrific actor and writer, but this is fanfiction that he wrote for himself. He's in a relationship with a 17 yr old girl, somehow 2 other attractive taller women just throw themselves at him. Just odd, this isn't how it works in the real world and the relationships in this movies are extremely immature and almost annoying. Maybe it's supposed to be surreal and a satire while also giving insight into the human condition, but this one was off base for me.

One and a half hours of Woody Allen attempting to make a relationship between a 42 year old man and a 17 year old girl seem not only acceptable, but "romantic"... Would be one of the creepiest movies I ever saw even if I didn't know anything else about Woody Allen's IRL "controversies"...

Manhattan is extremely underrated. Funnier and far more advanced than Annie Hall.
