I don't know if it's a great movie, but it's certainly a rewatchable and enjoyable one.

I honestly don't know why this film got such a mediocre score on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a great movie. The story is complex and enthralling, the characters are rich and three-dimensional, the action sequences are well-staged, the cinematography is epic, and it never feels as long as it was. For me, this is one of the most underrated movies of the last decade. I'd even take this over Gladiator. Sue me.

I agree with phonyfilmfan. This movie is absurdly underrated. The directors cut is both excellent and an absolute blast.
