started off promising enough. then it just continued to spiral down into a mess. when it was all said and done, it wasn't a bad movie. just extremely mediocre. which is a shame since I went into this with high hopes.

Agree that it started strong and really spiraled downward. The universal acclaim from critics is very strange.
