In case you thought the original didn't have enough plot twists, this one has approximately 4 million of them. I was rather annoyed by just how susceptible these expert magicians were to magic tricks in the first half of the film, but the second half made up for it. Great development/closure for Dylan as a character, and his street fight was awesome. Mark Ruffalo gets to be the Hulk AND Doctor Strange, he-he. Daniel Radcliffe was also excellent. My friend and I made innumerable Harry Potter jokes throughout the film! Despite its absurd amount of twists, still hilarious and incredible enjoyable to watch.

The original is far better for multiple reasons. The replacing of Isla Fisher with Lizzy Caplan was a big mistake. Next, was the story itself. It was missing the charm of the original. Finally, too many twists. In doing so it tries to make itself "smart." But it again loses the simplicity of good story telling.
