You're humanity's cancer. People like you should be nowhere but in six feet underground.

SJWs indeed. After End Game will we see Marvel taken over by SJWs? It will be the Venezuela of Hollywood. Anti-Marvel douches will like that though won't they?

Captain Marvel is the steaming pile that fans where worried about. Ranges from MEH (Sam Jackson) to TERRIBLE (Brie "Man-hater" Larson)

Gosh, that'll be obviously a masterpiece.

First off a huge negative is the fact that the character of Captain Marvel herself has all the interest and personality of dry toast… lots and lots of dry toast. Maybe that appeals to some but not to me. The strange thing is that I don’t think it can be blamed on Brie Larson’s poor performance but rather an extremely mundane and joyless script. Second, there is absolutely no tension at all in any of the plot points. No danger to Carol or to anyone that is with her. With no sense of danger, there is no thrill to any of the action. Honestly, I have watched Agents of Shield TV episodes with more thrills and tension. This entire movie because of the “meh” factor didn’t feel like a big budget MCU epic that we’ve come to expect.

Similar to my thoughts on other Marvel movies. Mindless entertainment but incredibly hollow.

First of all, the plot and story elements are missing some finer details. The 90's soundtrack and Marvel "nod and wink" is a little pandering, but I can't help but think this movie is not for me anyway. If you can remember when every new movie like this was your "best" movie when you were 12, then I think this movie delivers. I think some of the action sequences were visualized very well. Whoever was in charge of the 'Pre-Vis' or storyboarding earned their keep. Also in the plus category, Ben Mendelsohn, who delivers every line perfectly. I see this movie more like a serial episode which acts as the connecting tissue of a larger Avengers-Infinity War saga. In this light, it's a much easier pill to swallow. Don't get me wrong, I don't think this is the weakest Marvel film, but also not in the top 10. P.S. - This Marvel installment has the best intro fanfare of them all.

Unfortunately, the lackluster writing and serviceable production diminish the thrills, making Captain Marvel a letdown
