A surprisingly underrated horror film. Its premise is slick and actually pretty scary. Throw in hints of claustrophobia and monsters and you've got yourself a pretty great film.

It's unfortunate that there are two endings to the film, one clearly superior. The original UK conclusion was chillingly nihilistic. For the American release, the final 90 seconds or so were just chopped off to supply a moderately upbeat conclusion that totally didn't work. Make sure to see the original, international cut!

What a terrible ending. What's the point of such nightmare/illusion sequence? It just cancels what we've just watched, it's misleading IN A BAD WAY and just terribly gimmicky anyway.
