I was a bit disappointed with this one. Johnny Depp was great (Joel Edgerton was too), it is very well shot and the score was great. There are moments of greatness throughout, but it never reaches its full potential. Overall I did like it, but I felt it could have been much better.

Liked this one a lot. Cinematography and score were good, cast was solid and Depp was better than he has been in maaaaany years. A strong 8/10

Thought it was pretty average when I saw it in theaters. Rewatched it four years later and ended up loving it from start to finish. Crazy how opinions on films change over time. Really glad I gave this one a second look.
