Visually phenomenal. An exceedingly original movie which I'm sure Nolan had his eye on before making Inception.

It's a visually stunning film with a lot of unique, original ideas. Unfortunately, it also tries too hard being an imaginative, mindfuck experience. At a certain point, it becomes a bit tiring to watch and feels as though it stretches the conceit of being a "dream movie" a bit much and gets rather excessive. Still, for all the imagination and originality it boasts, it's definitely worth a watch.
