Not Wenders best movie, but still very entertaining. It's saturated in character and atmosphere, which is a good thing. It takes 2 hours to tell this mafia story, but each frame is filled with such vibrance time seems to pass by too quickly. The story is primarily told through two point of views, Ganz and Hooper. This poses a dilemma of sorts because you can see their motives, but you aren't sure what bigger event is playing out. This really doesn't hinder the movie too much as focus starts to shift to Ganz and Hooper's semi homoerotic relationship. 8/10
