Good movie, but who is that in the scene in the middle of the credits?!? I'm guessing Norman Osborn.

Better than the first Spider-Man, but doesn't reach the heights of Spider-Man 2.

Absolutely terrible. Sam Rami says that Spider-Man 4 will never get off the ground so he left the project. In a perfect world, Sony would've made Spider-Man 4 with a different director. If the cast says "we're done" or "we won't do it without Rami" then get a new cast. There's still a lot in the world to offer and explore. No, they reboot it. And it's not even a soft reboot like The Incredible Hulk, They do the same story AGAIN. Another villain that's a scientist that gets injected with something and goes insane BUT IT'S WRITTEN LIKE CRAP! Peter gets bitten by a spider and turns into a spider and he has a love interest AGAIN! The score is even a terrible version of Danny Elfman's score, the opening credits are the same and the only risk they take is a dull subplot about Peter's parents being spys or something. There's no fun to have in the film because it's so dull, poorly written and it feels like it was made by a studio. This is 10 years after the original DON'T REDO IT!

Honestly it's fine, it has quite a few things going for it, but the whole thing feels unnecessarily gritty and "Nolan-esque" for a Spider-Man movie... Definitely not bad, but it doesn't compare to the Raimi trilogy imho.

Too many unanswered questions stop it from living up to that "Amazing" title.
