My most anticipated of the year and it didn't disappoint. DiCaprio and Hardy are amazing and the cinematography is breathtaking. It blew me away like few films do.

The Revenant is a visual artistic masterpiece with great action sequences and a riveting storyline blended with two of the best acting performances of the year. DiCaprio and Hardy deserve Oscars along with Best Film.

Brutal and relentless. A masterclass in acting and technical filmmaking.

Cinematography is breathtaking. DiCaprio is tremendous. On Flickchart though, it should be included as a revenge film.

Really liked it. An incredibly shot film. The cinematography is breathtaking. Also two great roles by DiCaprio and Hardy (though I think Hardy was the better of the two). A strong 8/10

I liked this a lot. It reminded me a little of the Coens' underappreciated "True Grit", as well as the survival element being reminiscent of "All is Lost" and the true story in "Touching the Void". 9/10

The film-making is no doubt great, as is Tom Hardy. But the film is brought down by that hack actor and charisma vacuum Leo DiCrap.
