This is probably one of the most honest and raw films about modern marriages I have ever seen.

Adam Driver and Scarett Johansson deserve Oscar nods in this masterful depiction of a Marriage that can't compete with career ambition and hurt egos. This film doesn't take sides and it is very relatable to anyone who has been married with children. Adam Driver nails his role as the husband who tries to hold it all together. You won't see a better male performance in a film this year.

Adam Driver's performance as Charlie is all-encompassing of what it means to be a father, husband, and working artist. He delivers lengthy pieces of dialogue so naturally, balancing humour with raw love and earnestness.

So good. And it’s not nearly as depressing as people think. One scene had me howling with laughter, and a lot of the movie creates very warm feelings.
