Smith takes some chances, and really delivers and interestingly paced thriller.

**SPOILERS** I don't know what's scarier the Reverend or the ATF. I think the little twist towards the end where the ATF agents start shooting people they know to be innocent might be scariest. Oh, that's not a twist, that's the beginning of a different movie. And really, how typical is it, for Federal agents to start shooting unarmed citizens in the head? Are we suppose to extrapolate something from this religious group? REALLY?

It's definitely an interesting movie, but I can't say I think it's a very good one... It kinda drags in some parts, and just sort of fizzles out towards the end... Still, I respect Kevin Smith's ambitions with this movie, at least.
