"Two wonderful films about a young Abraham Lincoln. While neither is as good as Spielberg's masterpiece, both are quite special. Neither Raymond Massey nor Henry Fonda are as good as Daniel Day-Lewis was, but both give a strong, honest portrayal of one of the greatest Americans. I prefer Abe Lincoln in Illinois just a little more."
