Solid film. It's pretty underrated and I'd recommend it.

Amazing early Kubrick and what a story - it is no mystery why this hasn't become one of the hallmark war films during cable TV marathons. A violent assault on the men who make war.

My 2nd favourite war movie of all time behind Apocalpyse Now. The camera work and editing are very impressive nearly 70 years later. Kirk Douglas' performance is superb.

One of the greatest anti-war films ever made. Excellent movie with contemplative ideas and philosophies about politics, corruption, and authoritarianism.
