I am a fan of Paul Thomas Anderson but I think the screenplay was weak with cringy dialogue and plot elements that lead nowhere. I think this was a dull misfire.

I,m still not crazy about this film but like all Anderson films it's growing on me.It is still his weakest film.

This is a plot-light movie, and I think that detracted just a bit for me overall. But individually, all of the scenes worked well. I felt palpable chemistry between the leads too.
