Marlon Brando gives a good performance in this film, but it's Karl Malden that steals the show.

Marlon Brando gives one of the greatest acting performances in the history of film. The "I could have been a contender" scene always gives me chills. This is cinema at it's finest.

Inspires me to collect "Films From The Pulpit," or films that place ethical questions in a public setting in an almost metaphysical level of philosophical scale. M and 12 Angry Men would be included.
