Great music (obviously), beatiful costumes and sets, and two excellent lead performances. The three hours went by fairly quickly.

It feels like a 1980's version of Citizen Kane. Great film.

Amadeus is a significant, fascinating, and compelling film on the life and effects of one of the Western culture's great artists, both positive and negative.
