Bautista absolutely slays it with every one-liner. And Baby Groot rocks the joint. Still, I slightly prefer the first. Biggest problem: several slow and too-long scenes surrounding the Star-Lord/Ego relationship. Still, definitely a worthy sequel.

I prefer the first still but in spite of the flaws this one has, it's still excellent.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was like a roller coaster, a fun ride from beginning to end. It was better than the first one.

Hilarious? Yes. Fun? Certainly. Further development of already existing MCU characters? A little bit; yeah. Better than the first one? Certainly NOT.
