It's the weakest in my opinion out of the Rami trilogy but it's definitely the funniest

I loved the 3 Evil Dead (All in my top 160), and this is the best

One of the worst movies ever made. Not an exaggeration, it’s generally unwatchable!

Similar to Wade92 below for me. Rewatched this tonight and, I wouldn't say I loved it, but it is a very strong movie. Bruce Campbell is fantastic, the comedic stuff is hilarious, the horror stuff is terrifying and the filmmaking is great. If I had the power to delete any comment I left on this site, it would be any of my negative comments left to this film. Sorry Sam, I hope you can forgive me :(

Great movie, one of the best horror-comedies ever made.

I rarely ever say this but...I hate this movie. I even re-watched it a couple years after my initial viewing just to see what I'm missing since so many people hold it in such high regard. I just don't get the appeal.

Well, well, well. I'm amazed to say this film has won me over. I can't believe it but it's true. Just like Roger Ebert once said to the effect of movies remain constant but us as people change. He was talking about doing a 180 on A Clockwork Orange and I had the same experience with Evil Dead 2.

This is genuinely one of the best horror comedies ever made. The scene where Ash's hand gets possessed is one of the funniest things I've ever scene, truly an Oscar-worthy performance by Bruce Campbell.

A movie that trumps the original in every way possible. The scares, the humour and insanity of The Evil Dead are all amped up to 11 here.
